Middle School

by JUSTiNA   May 17, 2007

I guess no one thought this year would end
But now it's rushing to a stop
Life goes by so fast
And you barely have time to review your thoughts

Tears and sadness
Laughter and smiles
It goes by so quickly
It runs like miles

So we're turning into the big guys
And going to high school
We're turning into mature adults
So will our old jokes still be cool?

We went to middle school
And we've been through it all
But most of us are going to a different school
In August, this fall

So we just got a taste of emotions
And a lot of tears
And we've still got some more to deal with
For a couple more years

Middle School was fun
And even though we wish we could stay
We have to go to high school
And make it on our own one day

And it hurts a lot
Thinking how much we're all going to change
But this is life
And we're going on another phase

Thank you middle school
For letting us loose
But now we all have
Important life choices to choose

And even when I'm far away
I will still remember
How we all went to middle school
And made it out together
