Little Spider

by Bill Turner   May 17, 2007

I feel you clinging to the air
Struggling to stay afloat
Normally I would not care
But this floats my boat

Little spider surfing the sky
Waiting for Miss Muffet
She may just happen by
Listening to some Jimmy Buffet

The pain pills seem to be at work
A little Jack helped kick them in
But the spider it does lurk
Watching me with a grin

Little spider in the breeze
Shuffling feet to the beat
Just doing what you please
In this damn ninety degree heat

It is time to stop with the grin
As the flying monkeys are here
You know that they are going to win
Ask Dorothy, it is them you should fear

    "Just doing what you please
In this damn ninety degree heat"

instead of "In this damn ninety degree heat"
    u shoulda put
    "Just doing what u please
    in this damn ninety degrees."

    Bill,

Oh where have you gone, Billy Boy, Billy Boy
Oh where have you gone... Charming Billy

What kind of drugs were you doing and how much jack did you use to wash them down.

    lol

Great stuff, dear friend. Nice to see you writing a little humor.

    Always,
