The Light

Through the darkness
I see a light
It shines
all bright

I follow the light hoping
I will get to it
its taking forever
feels like I'll never get there

The light makes me feel good
it makes me smile
makes me laugh
makes me want to catch it

Looks like a star
Seems like its playing with me
Seems like it is smiling at me
Makes me feel so special

I really adore that light
I hope I get to that light one day
I wonder if the light
wants me to get it

The light shines up my life
brightens my day
and makes me feel like
I'm worth so much more

The light is bright,
great, amazing
and heart warming
The light is you

    Great poem. My friend just did a project on light. he made his own theory. It was based on the Bible. and a guy read his theory and is going to publish it for him. but light is a great thing to write about. great write, keep it up.
