Helpless

by Samuel Houston   May 18, 2007

All the strength that is in me is gone
Being in your presence there is a peaceful glow
My body surrenders to you in a silent moan.
My head tells me one thing but my heart says no

For I yearn to feel as you feel
To live forever in that one moment
For destiny cannot keep apart what is real
For my heart leaps at the time that was spent

Melting in the arms of pure romance
Tasting the final kiss and the sweat of your neck
Losing nothing else to chance
Asking for nothing more than what you expect
