No Home

by Nat   May 18, 2007

I wish I were someone, anyone but who I am
The closer I get to "The House"
I can feel myself quiver inside
Home? I tell myslef.
My fingers tremble from fear
I know in a few moments I'll be back where
it all starts.
Under the "monsters" control
He's the master were his slaves
My mom turns to me and says
"We're home"
Me looking staright back at her I see her
Black eye and bruises.
And me wanting to ask "why?"
I stay silent
I look right through her, hoping, praying she
can feel fear, my pain from the inside of me
But I just tell myself
I have no home.
