Leotard Darling

by caitlin   May 18, 2007

Soft ballet slippers glide across the floor
petaled nails tap across the piano silently screaming release
heartbroken, she's torn into two heart crushed soul sent into oblivion.
his face shimmers into her sweat beaded crystaline eyes
hands they held dissapear into mist, never here, always departed
aching muscles tear, collapsing her frame frail and hurt
please a cry of hers echos in the empty room
gone why nobody knows
a dancer she is, but weak is her pose.
