Taking the Breaking

by Kayla   May 18, 2007

Pain of a million stabbing knives
A mission only to kill
The world passes me by
As i can only stand still

Somewhat of this vision
Had come once before
Slamming our love in my face
You walked out the door

The journey we traveled
So far we have come
Please don't give me the heartache
But i guess it's really done

I thought our problems could vanish
My image no more than make believe
I tried and gave my all
Just to watch you leave

The best is yet to come
With a new light waiting to shine
Never knowing what we could have been
Still wishing you were mine

Your arms were my home
A sanctuary I can never again return
Shake off what i can
Unleashing these tears to burn.

Nicely written. 5/5. Just wondering you probably had another title for this but you didn't put it instead this title will be a" message " to the main reader's subliminal mind. The poem is great. Just the title...hmnn,

    Best Wishes
