Bottom of the Sea

by N4than   May 18, 2007

You raised my sails,
You told me this time I wouldn't fail,
You pushed me from my dock,
And pointed a gun at my stern, ready to cock.

You blew a hole larger than life,
You left me stranded, forcing a fight,
You'd set yourself free,
All at the expense of an unsuspecting me.

You saw me slowly sinking beneath,
You saw those widely thrashing teeth,
You simply turned your back,
As the surface returned to a calm, cold, flat.

Here I lie limp and free,
Here I say goodbye to everything left of me,
Here I take my final breath,
As water seals my unconfiding death.

If this is about what I think it's about, you cant honestly believe these:

"And pointed a gun at my stern, ready to cock."
"You left me stranded, forcing a fight.. All at the expense of an unsuspecting me."
    "You simply turned your back"
