Lover's Whispers

by Lithium   May 18, 2007

Lover's whispers melt away the ice,
On a cold and frosty winters morn,
Waking from a magical slumber,
Where we breathed on heavens door,

In our dreams we soared above the clouds,
On a flying carpet made of gold,
Together we flew into the future,
And saw ourselves grow old, together,

We watched the roses bloom in spring,
Then saw them fall as time passed by,
We made a vowel in the secret garden,
And to one another we were tied,

Under the dazzling stars on our white night,
I gave my love to you,
For a minute you were silent,
Then whispered back, I love you too.

Dedicated to Scott Clarke, I love you.
