I cannot say who I am
So I write a song and sing:
what do I feel
what do I need
who do I need
to believe

people think they know me
but what they see is wrong
they're betrayed by their ears
they don't see what lies
within my song

some call it light
some call it darkness
they don't know
that with each word
and gesture
they make me feel afraid
to show my softer side
