Whisping wind

by Danielle   May 18, 2007

I am that subtle breeze you choose to forsake,
I wisp around you on a hot day,
but you do not know i am here until i am long gone,
until it is too late.

I am the wind that constantly reminds you
to not forget the first touch,
but rather the last.

Now i lay here as still as death
on a hot summer day,
simply waiting for a storm to come in
and blow me away
