Everyday Frown

by Lindsay Miles   May 19, 2007

If it happened to me, don't know what I'd do.
Just like those girls that I called stupid.
They say love is pretty darn hard to give up,
But would it be such a joy, if you weren't given enough?
They cheat, they lie, they bring you down.
Is it even worth that everyday frown?
I try to stay strong for what I believe in.
A woman of power, is what I'M achievin!
Because if I fall, I know I'd fall hard.
But I can't let that happen,
Won't let it go that far!
How could I hate you,
And like you just as much?
Your whole sex is wrong,
They'll never keep up.
They cheat, they lie, they bring you down.
Is it even worth that everyday frown?
They don't understand,
But they were brought up that way.
Why don't they show how they feel for a change?
A real sign of emotion is all I'll rant.
But for some reason you just can't.
I'm saying us women will continue our fight,
The way some believe we are worthless, aint right!
And I do want that great love, not saying I don't.
But if I don't take a that chance, guess I just wont.
So tell me how I'm suppose to feel,
To stop my beliefs, for something not real.
So tell me now, don't waste my time,
How do you feel? Just give me a sign.
But they cheat, they lie, they bring you down.
Is it really worth that everyday frown?
