Keep Moving Forward

by Rachel   May 19, 2007

All day i've tried
to forget all these things
the things that he loved
and the way that he sings

his favourite food
and the way that he talks
and our similarities
like our love of taking walks

his eyes captivate me
and with a single glance
my heart feels
as if it's doing a dance

i know i need to forget
all the things that he said
they keep reminding me
of the love that's now dead

so today i'm move'n on
and although it may be tough
it's the best thing for me
to get threw this rough

so today i'm sayin
"good-bye my sweet terry"
i'll miss you at first
but over all, i'll be much more merry :D

Note to self: This is your final good-bye
No more saying "hi"
you have to let him go
or moving on will come slow
leave those thoughts behind
don't let them rewind
and just remember what you said:
"this is the last good-bye, i never want to speak to you again" as you walked away and turned you head.
and thats it, theres nothing more
stop listening to his voice, JUST IGNORE!
keep moving forward, you're almost there
and girl that takes courage, courage that's rare
but i know you can do it, it'll take all that you are
but i know you can do it, you've already come so far
keep moving forward
and for next time just remember not to let down your guard
