Perfection for happiness [ Tanka ]

by Miranda HEARTCORE   May 19, 2007

The glistening skin,
Such silky perfection done,
Seems she never smiled, sad,
To not smile nor frown for I,
Would rather die, then not smile

Tanka is a classic form of Japanese poetry related to the haiku with five unrhymed lines of five,
seven, five, seven, and seven syllables. (5, 7, 5, 7, 7)
