She's gone...

by Mary Rose   May 19, 2007

A beauty she once possess
Like the star in the night
Her vividness shone
Enticing akin to roses
So delicate and innocent
The sweetest girl could ever be
But nothing seems to last forever
Time had gone so fast
Withered and dying
The girl with an alluring nature
Now looks pale and weak
I gazed at her with sorrow
I can tell that she’s at ease
The night felt long
As I stood beside her death bed
Weeping and mourning
Longing for this day to end
Wishing that it was just a dream
Hoping that when I wake up
She would be there smiling at me.
