Unheard Suffering.

by Suta   May 19, 2007

As I breathe heavily, clearing the dust,
I clamber my way over the broken pipes that rust,
I hear no cry,see no life, just the daylight streaming through.
Hours of searching,no sign not yet,but alas a movement, but by who?.
Franticly running, throwing bricks out of the way,
There she was stone cold,lay.
Picking her up,cold and wiltered.
Was she the one I loved and sheltered?
Her silent face,no spoken words lingered around her mouth.
Instead she hung her head...

Was she alive....or was she dead?.

(This was a poem connecting to an earthquake that happend in Kobe,Japan,it lasted 20 seconds and killed 5,000 people.)
