Sooner Or Later.

by Teria   May 19, 2007

Ferocious fireflies soaring through the night,
giving off the most wondrous, bright light.
Gently moving up, down, up, down, side to side.
Swish, Swash! The beautiful firefly just died.
A life lived so far away from friends and family.
Oh, how the dreams were stolen for eternity.
Squished, Squashed. What a poor soul..
Sooner of later the rest of them will know.

I thought it was very different to most poems, most SAD poems have to do with people, but not a DEAD firefly, anyhow the rhyming was very good, and the flow was great to, 5/5

This is a very unique poem, I have never read one about a firefly I don't think lol It was done pretty well but you last 2 lines don't rhyme while the reast do, so 4/5 from me. I won't downgrade your poem but if you still want the 4 just let me know. Good job
