I start to cry
you rush to my tears
wiping all away
my wet salty fears

i weep out loud
voice how i feel
you take away the sadness
the cries you steal

i want to fall
but you catch me before i do
give me a shoulder

you get me to smile
and you take my hand
keep me strong
helping me stand

the pain you ease

the tears are gone
