In loving memory of Tiffany Ann Bottenfield

by Ashlee   May 19, 2007

Ever have someone, who was like your better half?
You have some parts and they carry what you lack?
There was this girl as pretty as can be
She was my bestest, she was the other part of me.
She was amazing and filled with life
She lived by her own rules, she played by the dice
She had her own way of making you smile
Even when life was hard, she made it worth while.
When things got rough, and you needed to cry
She would Be the first one there, wanting to dry your eyes.
There was something about her, that just made her glow,
Maybe it was her passion for life? or her inner rainbow?
She had the brightest smile, you could see from a mile away,
It was amazing and beautiful, you couldn't help but look her way.
She had this cute giggle, and this amazing laugh
She was amazingly perfect, I honestly don't know what she lacked.
There are memories of us, I'll keep with me forever
Whether it was the first day we met, or the last time we were together.
I have pictures of us posted on my wall,
Reminding me of our great times, I'll always remember them all.
From our sleep overs, to our roller-blades, to climbing her front tree,
There are so many memories I'll forever keep with me.
She was a real inspiration, she changed my life,
I'm sorry I ever got mad at her, and about our stupid fights.
I'll never forget the time, She introduced me to her mom,
She grabbed my hand, we crossed the road then she pointed down to this engraved stone.
She said "This is my mom, and i miss her so much.."
She knelt down, and the stone we both touched.
I sit here and smile, knowing where she is,
She's reunited with her mom, it truly is bliss.
Tiffany Ann Bottenfield, I can promise you from this day,
I'll carry you with me in my heart, you will never truly go away.

I'm at school so I'm trying so hard not to cry. That's brilliant though
