You crawled to me in the sandbox

Do you remember when we turned seven?
The years before felt like Heaven
We'd hug and laugh and play all day
Have those memories flown away?

Do you remember when we entered middle school?
We both went our separate ways we thought were "cool"
I miss being with you

Do you remember when you liked that one girl?
Seeing you with her made my heart whirl
You looked at her
She looked back
I cry at the memories of you looking at her like that

Do you remember when we were with our friends?
They took out a bottle, making my heart bend
Forming a circle, the bottle they spun
Thinking this game was only for fun

Do you remember when we kissed that time?
Our lips in unison; your hand in mine

All of this came to us in rush
The kisses.. the laughter.. the bliss and lush

Do you remember when I first met you?
From the play dates.. to kisses.. to each other's "I do's"?
