My Anti-Christ

by Corruption   May 21, 2007

My eyes turn to glass
My fingers turn to ice
My hair turns to ash
My legs turn to stone

Each and every single emotion
Run through me like lightning
She burns my senses
Sears my skin

She caused such pain
Filled me with regret
Over distance, over land
She killed my being

I loved her great
Or so I thought
And she returned my love
Or so I thought

My mistakes had cost a lot
Robbed me of feelings
And made me unable to love
To love is to be happy

Happiness is nothing to me
Anger is nothing to me
Sadness is nothing to me
Excitement is nothing to me

My angel, or more my anti-Christ
Made me, me, but then stabbed me
A hole in my back
I wished it had killed me....

I liked the poem but i agreed with wallace just on the capitalizing the letter of each line. I found this poem to be an enjoyable read with great emotions used throughout it. Well done~mel

Nice poem, it had very strong emotions in it. But i think it would sound better if it rhymed and it would have looked more presentable if you started each line with a capital letter. Great job though.
