Existence

If I lost you,
Would you come find me?
If I strayed off into the darkness
Would you turn the light on for me?
Or would you leave me to fade away,
And never look back?
Would you go on without me?
Would you pretend that I don't exist?
But tell me -
Do you disappear when the lights go off?
Do you exist?

    Very well written poem, m'dear. Cute, honest, and from the heart. I really enjoyed it. I like the words you used, especially the "Turn the light on for me" metaphor that sometimes is overused but fits perfect in this part.
