Oh my gosh! I'm at school right now so I had to hold back tears when reading this. I couldn't imagine losing my grandma, I'm so sorry for your loss. This was a beautiful, beautiful poem and you've captured everything you must be feeling in it. xxx

My days feel so empty without you here
But I still talk to you all the time
I hold pillows and talk tears to you
You're never far from my mind

Aww Gem hun this stanza just makes my heart ache for you. The loss of a loved one is so very painful.
I understand your pain dear one. I lost my grandmother a while back and the pain seems to always stay in our hearts.
When ever I miss her terribly I just close my eyes ....... and she is but only ... a memory away.
Your Nanna will always be in your heart sweets.
    Touching poem Gem

This is so sad and touching, I can relate on my own personal level. Time may heal pain, but there is always a missing piece of someone special in your life. You've expressed the emotion so well in this.

Wow, that was so sad. I'm not going to say that I understand what you are going through because I never lost anyone so close to me. I can only imagine the pain. It's always good to remember and cherish the good times. Why don't you write a poem of one of your fondest memories.
    Take care.

When tragedies like this strike there really is no amount of time that can heel a broken heart. I loved the poem and all the love and sadness in everyline. Excellent job 5/5

    "But then sick realisation hits
As my heart takes another fall"

its a terrible feeling when you realize just how little progress you have made, when you're convinced that you have. i clicked on the title anticipating a "four month mark" of being together, and it was a shocking surprise to know that im not the only one that has thought about the time since a relationship has ended..amazing work, it'll all work out for you...you've got a plus side to the whole thing, you've churned out many deep, intense, and absolutely stunning poems because of it. keep it up, and hang in there.

Awehh..so sorry about your loss Dear, I hope it gets better for you. An excellent poem in her memory, it`s filled with emotion and pain that the reader can feel it just by the way you portrayed it. Great job.

"There's still a sense of a huge great loss"

^^ I felt like you could have used just one or the other of 'huge' and 'great' it would flow a lot better that way.

"So I'm writing this tear-filled letter"

    ^^ LOVED that line !
