Kiss me goodbye-my time to leave
Ignorantly blissful, people are to truth
Shackles restraining feet, binding hands
Someone save me-can no one hear these woeful cries?

Misery seeping through this broken soul
Elegance all but lost.

Ghastly thoughts are gathering
Overwhelmed with melancholy
Oblivious to anything except torment
Debility ripping me apart inside
Bidding farewell to all that's loved
Yearning to be free of this perilous fate
Execution for a crime that was not mine.
