Terribly Insecure {Contest}

What do you see,
When you look at me?
A girl whoâ??s lost,
miserable and star-crossed?

Is this what you wanted?
Are you happy with what youâ??ve got?
These thoughts keep me haunted,
In this confusion youâ??ve let me rot.

A child all alone,
Crying in a corner.
No affection ever shown,
Ignored till she crossed her borders.

Acting out for attention,
Claiming all she could get.
Living in a world of fiction,
Ranting across her own imaginary set.

Piercing her belly,
And spoiling her hair.
Screaming daily,
Yet no one seemed to care.

Drowned herself in poetry,
And when she finally let her secret out.
Those who read her stories,
Hardly gave a c.r.a.p. about what they were about.

Is this line not straight?
Is my hair too black?
Is it time to loose weight?
Is it too late to look back?

Oh my gosh, whoâ??s that girl?
She definitely canâ??t be me!
Tears, mascara and dirty curls,
What a disappointment, this just canâ??t be!

Heâ??s probably not busy,
Heâ??s just avoiding me.
He must really hate me,
Mustâ??ve repulsed him to the extreme.

And why is that?
Itâ??s because this girl is just not enough.
This girl inside me is crap,
She just isnâ??t tough.

So now when you look at me, what do you see?
Must be a lost child so terribly pure.
So now when you look at me, what do you see?
Must be a lost child so terribly insecure.

Wow, that's sad. So, true though. Then the fact that so many people could relate, even I. I loved it.
