The frigid air
Whips through my lifeless hair.
Bugs crawel over my flesh,
My body is nothing but a tangled mess.
Broken and twisted in many ways,
I have been lying here for one too many days.
No one has come to see,
See if they could find me.
I've heard children laugh and talk,
I heard the old man next door take his walk.
My soul refuses to let go,
Just waiting to be found in this remote hole.
My brain is being eaten alive
By all these insects now living inside.
My eyes are emptyless holes
Like a ghost without a soul.
I hear a rustle of leaves, could it be?
That now you have come to find me?
But no it's just the trees,
They whisper quietly just to mock me.
So sad to know,
I have been left out on my own,
No one to care,
No one to find me or stare.
I wish I could have never loved someone so cruel,
Because now I am dead and know the truth.
