The Spy Who Gave a Damn Part II

by I Seem to be the Heartless   May 21, 2007

Reaching for the gun
There was no sound, not a cough
Then suddenly a deafening roar
As the gun went off

From underneath the two men
A pool of blood ran
"No!" I screamed for
The spy who gave a damn

Noticing a movement
I slowly backed away
He reached out his hand -
Alive for another day

Holding me in his arms
The rain drenching us
He smiled mischievously at my tears,
"What’s the big fuss?"

I laughed as his boldness
And leaned in for a kiss
Who would've thought
I’d fall for a man like this?

Never would've thought there'd be a part 2 lol. But I like this as much as I like the first one. Love the ending, btw. Was he just a stranger or someone you knew? But I think I know the answer to that lol Keep it up!
