Cogs

Earnest business~ this retention of wonder
I's taken so long to get young
Fleeting freedoms flash Turn away
Perspectives mutate with angles viewed
All focus on nows secluded breath
Run beneath hidden trees of desire
Time is a confusion like a foreign language
slow to response-expelling rapid demise
First blood of a new revolution
You can't be in love and wise at the same time
I have no answers for that sort of question
I'm just a song and dance, man.
The audience has become dangerous...
You've created it and now want me to explain it to you
I can't relate to your state,
standing in the face of your thought
Where we are is not where it's at
What is sometimes is not.
...everyone may just walk out,
seems I'm alone even now.
Who among you does stand on his own morals
and ask the opposing questions?
Does even one ponder the workings of the machine
or are you a content cog not wishing to grind teeth?
Lost is the will to stand~
personalized generation further deterioration
storming in on red wings
blowing consciousness to Jordan's banks
