Missin You

by Amanda Frost   May 21, 2007

Every night before she lays to slumber,
She looks up at the star lit sky and she wonders.

He went so far away,
And she dreams about him day by day.

She misses his smile, those soft brown eyes,
She thinks about him as she looks up at the light blue skies.

She wants to kiss those soft lips,
Its the greatest thing she doesnt want to miss.

She hopes he comes back and she hopes its soon,
She prays to the lord night after night as she stares up at the moon.

She misses his laugh and the way he giggled,
They played, wrestled and he she would tickle.

He would tickle her back and throw her to the ground,
She lets out a giggle as they wrestle around.

Now on top of her he gives her a kiss,
This is one memory she will greatly miss.

She loves him more than anything, he has no clue,
Believe it or not Baby, but shes missin you!

Aww, that was sweet. I'm not really a love poem type of person, but I liked this one. Th flow was off a little, but I like the way you discribed the person she was missing. I could see a picture of him in my head. So good imagrey! Keep writing!
