Only A Northern Song (double haiku)

by debbylyn   May 21, 2007

Wind blown bent tree sways
Only a northern song plays
Canada gale blows

Serene white caps prance
Lake Erie's slow summer dance
Warm sand polished toes

This is a great little poem, very unique. Wonderfully vivid images. It conveys such a peaceful contented milieu. A beautiful piece.

You've indeed mastered this difficult form. It's as if you've written this piece with ease. How I wish I could write like you someday!

    Best wishes! Love, Debbie

    Short, so sweet.
    Full of imagery in word...
    "Serene white caps prance
    Lake Erie's slow summer dance"

The pebble drops and the ripple is felt.....
    everywhere.....
