Happy Ending

She rides along

Sun glowing on her face

The wind blowing in her hair

She wouldn't want to be any other place

As a flower blooms

So does she

Coming out of her shell

For all to see

She has grown up

With soft easy eyes

They change with her

So they tell no lies

Her soft hair

Carefully put into place

Pale fair skin

That compliments her face

She has never given up

And thought at one point she tried

But now that is the past

Leave it where it lies

She's had her troubles

Her endless sleepless nights

Where she just wanted to hide

But she never gave up the fight

Her inner child was hidden

But now every once in awhile it comes out

The weight has been lifted off her shoulders

She doesn't have so many doubts

She's left her friends behind

She left her old life

The one full of darkness

Emptiness and strife

She started over

Got her second chance

Now she's completely different

Even yearns for romance

She use to be miserable

Somethings she'll never forget

There are always those moment in life

That we all regret

But she's learned life can get better

Someone can catch you when you fall

You just need to stick out your hand

Let someone be your all

She can now see

She opened her heart

What she found was amazing

She found a brand new start

So as a flower blooms
