I Pray

You give it all you've got
But what you've got is not good enough
Sure you had your weaknesses
But for the most part you hung tough
You strive to do good
But you get off track
You don't know how or why
You fall to your knees
You beg and plead
You say Lord, I know I lied
I know I lied, I know I strayed
I know I done some wrong
Take it Lord, have it all
For I no longer can be strong
I am weak, I have no strength
I know you'll guide me right
Lead me out of this mess I created
Keep me in your sight
I know I am not able
To change someone unless
They want to change for themselves
They first must confess
Lord, you brought me to the floor
I know you can him too
I pray you reach out to him
I pray he reaches for you
