Rainstorm love

by Miranda HEARTCORE   May 22, 2007

Reaping souls eternal life,
Alone, she can't find one to share her truth,
Immersing herself in her writing,
Nude to be, it starts,
Shattering rain striking the window,
The window shutters striking brutally,
Odyssey holds herself against the windows,
Ripping out her hair, how she yearns to be free,
Must be free, free like the rain.

Locked indoors, forbidden to live,
Out the door, she wishes she could,
Vain punishment, for wanting to breathe,
Enough she screams, running through that door.

Really beautiful language. That really got me hooked, it was lovely.

...I love the thought in it, too. Just, well... awesome poem.

Wow. It was short and yet very deep. I love how it was about a storm. It flowed all so wonderfully. None of the words were too over-used or too simple. Great Job!
