Who i am

by livingwith   May 22, 2007

I am a worrier of words
With a rusty sward of truth and honesty
My enemy is my self
Dark brown hair
Dark brown eyes
Tan complexion is just the out side
My name
My mind my strength my lips it speaks
Of questions
Of wisdom
Of joy
My enemy is my self
When I stand in silence.

I absolutely admire this piece. It was very well-written, with a distinct potency in its tone of voice. When you said these lines, "I am a worrier of words. My enemy is my self." I can't help but correlate with this piece thoroughly, considering now that I'm a big worrywart (with words) and an enemy to my own self...Lovely piece. A joy to read. =)
