As I Sit Here

by kolorful   May 22, 2007

As I sit here in the moonlight,
Wishing you were here,
I remember the days when we were together,
When I had nothing to fear.

You and I, together forever,
Or at least that's what you said,
Until that day you went away,
I wish you weren't dead.

I remember the laughs we used to share,
How much we were in love,
You were always there for me in times of need,
It's you I'm thinking of.

Why did you have to leave me,
When I needed you the most,
You left me all alone here,
I wish I could see just your ghost.

So I sit here in the moonlight,
Wishing you were here,
I remember the days when we were together,
When I had nothing to fear.
