The Least You Could Do

by BECCA lessTHANthree   May 23, 2007

Hammer down the floorboard,
My pain is bursting through;
Nail it down and help control,
My never-ending thoughts of you.

Open up the windows,
And let some air inside,
Im filling up this hopeless heart,
Replaying moments left behind.

Clear away the clutter,
Let some sun into this place.
Wipe the dirt and clean the dust
That takes up so much space.

Erase this chalky world I'm in,
And fill it with a life not mine;
Do it quick, im falling fast,
And running out of time.

Its up to you to save me,
Make some space for me at home,
To take back all our memories,
And just leave me alone.

Cause after all the things you said,
And all you put me through,
Taking back the painful thoughts,
Is the least that you could do...

    This was great. I really like this. The slant rhyming gave it nice flow, and teh words just kept my attention. they were great detailed words.

    5/5!
