You Don't Know Me

by Tricksy   May 23, 2007

You don't know me,
Or the places I've been.
You don't know what it's like
To walk in my skin.
You can't see
The world through my eyes
You can't taste
The tears that I've cried.
You don't know
The troubles I've seen.
You're just another
One on their their team.
That team.
The team of those tormentors
The ones that make me cry.
The words they say
Make me feel dead inside.
The bruises they give me
Hurt more then any other.
But you don't see.
You look at me
And all you'll see is a smile,
A little girl with nothing wrong.
Because you don't know me.
