The Dirty Roses

by geeeeee   May 23, 2007

Such one sided views and perceptions we hold
Nothing more than dirt is how they are perceived
Inhumane treatment
Racism completed
Human rights are forgotten and breached
Power and greed glazed in the white mans eyes
Slavery was to meet the hands of fate
The beginning of oppression
To spark the war of aggression
They dreamed and hungered for an escape
The exodus of a struggle was born and discovered
Listen and hear the reverberation of the whips
Unbearable atrocities were endured
Diminutive hope became obscure
Eyes of hate looked down upon them with disdain
Equality in history was never carved into stone
A philosophy of superiority came to existence
Freedom was long awaited
A barrier was now created
Humans were never destined for coexistence

This one is really good and very true. The World is a sad place, especially in this day in age. It seems morals are not a big part in anyones life. Very good. :]
