Small Things (Double Tetractys)

by Gem   May 23, 2007

A
Blade of
Grass, So small,
So delicate
Yet look at the wonders it can create

Never underestimate the small things
For the little
Things in life
Are the
Best

Such truth in these words..I liked how you started it off with an example of a small thing which all too often is taken for granted, however, at the same time I felt like the first stanza could have easily been more explanation on the whole aspect of the poem and the point you were trying to get across; otherwise it`s like you get to the second stanza and BAM it just changes. It was awesome how it was, don`t get me wrong..just a thought I had while I read this.

Truely beautiful. Emotions were strong and really heartfelt. The style was good I used to write a fair few of this style myself. Capturing peae of poetry with such peaceful words. Nice meaning portrayed. Good job here yet again. Well done~mel

I think most people do take the small things that the world has to offer for granted. But if we take the time to notice and appreciate the small things, it makes the big things that much better. excellent job unique style of poetry 5/5

to write these kind of poems

Reading this adorable piece reminds me of Wilde's wit...I, too, adore simple pleasures and simple things. But he made me giggle when he said, "I adore simple pleasures. It is the last refuge of the complex." Hehe. =)

A wonderfully-written, thoughtful piece. A delight to read, as always, my dear! Love, Debbie
