My wingless angel

by Michael Thompson   May 23, 2007

Hello my wingless angel who is sitting over there,
It comes to mind that when I'm talking you are never there;
The truth is never clearer too me how friendly we may be,
That my love for you however honest is one you cannot see.

It does not matter what i do or when speak my mind,
I don't exist, i cannot feel because my love is blind;
To embrace you into my life, how pitiful it may be,
Would only bring you from your cloud where you watch on all but me.

As days pass by this summer, with others you flirt and smile,
My heart is choking for such chance even if it's for a while;
For you lure me upon your rock, your siren song is calling,
and in my dreams you walk the isle, while i myself am falling.

    The best one on here you've written =)
    The rhythm stayed steady throughout the whole piece, without any trippy bits.
    And the emotion was clear to see, something a lot of people find hard to do
    Excellent =)

    Hey, I'm Erin, nicely written! Girls suck sometimes...If she doesn't notice you, she isn't worth it. Keep up the good writing!
