FRIENDSHIP OF A LIFETIME!!!!

I DEDICATE THIS POEM TO BEST FRIEND CALEB....
Friends are hard to keep,
In a generation made of pain and sorrow;
Some friends come into our lives to stay,
While others come to steal, kill, and to destroy.
True friendship is rare,
You can't trust all who you meet,
For you can't just judge a book by its cover,
Nor a gift by its wrapping,
But with you I saw a unique difference,
In you I found all,
A person so trustworthy and honest,
A friend no matter what,
In the darkest of nights, In the cold of the winter,
You remained by my side;
When I was down,
You lifted me up,
True friendship is what You and I dearly hold.
It cannot be broken by time nor distance,
For true friendship weathers the storms of life
Not alone but together as one,
For a burden carried is better to be carried by two,
You have shown me friendship
And more than that
You have shown me love.
Words cannot explain the gratitude you are owed;
Thank you from the bottom of my heart....to the depths of my soul,
For being just who you are!!!!
