Rose

Releases me from past pain,
Replenishes my strength,
Responds to me, replies,
Recalls to me at length,

Obscured like a cloud,
Obvious, but elusive,
Omitted, out of reach,
Our everything in one, conclusive,

Stable, grounded, but so up high,
Solving, calculating, but human,
So beautiful, so graceful,
So must to me, and me, subhuman,

Evolving, beyond my dreams,
Exclusively, taking me gaze over,
Exquisitely formed into a rose,
Especially important, I think, I love her.
