Good Night my loving Mother

by Michael Thompson   May 23, 2007

Good night my loving mother,
Its just something in my eye,
I'm going now for a little walk,
now promise not to cry.

Theres just some things i can't explain,
these thoughts are truly mine,
they aren't through games or websites,
i don't play them all the time.

What left is there to live for,
when love is not for me,
id rather go to grandma,
and live my life whilst free.

I'm sorry that i cannot stay,
my wounds and mind wont mend,
and please watch over the faithful dog,
my last and only friend.

Some times i wait for death to come,
for some miracle in hand,
so i may finally take my place in heaven,
and rise up from this land.

But here i am still sat here,
on this cold and mourning eve,
the ground is now so far below,
and tears make it hard to breathe.

aww, that stanza was so bittersweet, i loved the way you brought the dog into it.
I'm probably ignorant to the true meaning behind this piece but from what i've gathered, it's really upsetting
