Too far

by brogan   May 23, 2007

Her hand reached for the blade,
She clasped it with her delicate fingers.
She wondered how she had become like this,
Psychotic and depressed.
As she sliced her wrists,
She thought of all the kids at school.
All the sniggering remarks,
All the self hate.
She dug deeper and deeper into her skin,
Crimson liquid dripped onto the bathroom floor.
She closed her eyes,
Wincing from the pain.
Yet again wishing she hadn't done it so hard.
She fell to the ground,
Gasping for breath.
She screamed for help,
But no one came.
The girl lay on the ground,
Praying some one would save her.
But this time she had gone too far,
This time she had dug too deep,
This time...she died.
