Changes

by brogan   May 23, 2007

She glided along the sidewalk,
With hope, no fears and energy.
Her hips swung to the upbeat music,
Her lips parted into a wide smile.
She was circled by her closest friends,
Each of them intelligent, pretty and kind.
Her eyes missed a crack in the smooth pavement,
She tumbled into a pit of darkness.
Awoken by the demons of hell,
She morphed into a life of evil.
Desperate for friends,
She clung on to the demons for security.
They guided her into mischief and mayhem,
Transformed her into the princess of darkness.
For weeks they treated her like a queen,
But then dropped her like she was nothing.
The girl tried to reach for the light,
But a force pushed her down.
She was trapped in an imaginary world,
No one to guide her back to happiness.
The girl had a decision to make,
Resolve her sins or give up her life.
