The Girl Who Wasn't Good Enough

by Lindsay   May 23, 2007

The girl who wasn't good enough
Is walking down the street
Caref'lly planning ev'ry step
She takes with lonely feet

The girl who wasn't good enough
Dies with ev'ry breath she takes
By looking at her they can tell
She drowns in her mistakes

The girl who wasn't good enough
Tries to fight away the lies
That trap her in her endless pain
And see through her disguise

The girl who wasn't good enough
Sees the world pass by
As hers spins upside down
While she can't even try

The girl who wasn't good enough
Goes only where she's sent
She listened to the things he said
But knows not what he meant

The girl who wasn't good enough
Is everything I see
She's everything of nothing
But most of all, she's me
