Method to my Madness

by Michael D Nalley   May 23, 2007

Method to my Madness

There is a method to my madness
A solemn sorrow to my sadness
Perception to my point of view
A reason for my rhyme to you

You are the apple of my eye
Forbidden fruit for which to die
Angels in heaven know not my hell
Nor felt the shame of how I fell

I've tried so hard to prove my love
Praying for mercy from above
Sought redemption to ease my pain
Searched my soul to please my brain

Methods to my rhymes and reasons
Are like the cycles of the seasons
Spring and summer only lead to a fall
Lovers love endlessly to heed a call.

The title of this poem grabbed my attention really well. Most would say that the title of the poem is the most important part, but truly, this poem in itself is awesome.

You have a way with your words, that make them so beautifully perfect.
I can see the love, romance and beauty in every line of this poem.
    You are awesome
    My many best wishes,
    Love Tara-Kay
