The Valentines Card

It took me a while to think
do i really truly love him?
our am i just a desperate soul
trying to fit in

For days, months, weeks i thought and thought
until I knew it was true
I really truly undoubtfuly
really really love you!

So the day before valentines
I thought up an idea
to show i really loved you
I'd make you the best v-day card and show you where no one interfered

the next day after school
in the hall I stopped you
I Gave you the card my best best friend
and I told you i really loved you!

you looked at me with anger though
and ripped up the card
i was shocked and broken
I tried not to show tears it was really hard

You screamed "I will never love you!"
and stormed out as fast as the speed of light
I fell to my knees
looking a dreadful sight

I cried and cried and cried some more
and fell asleep on the ground
hoping someone anyone out there
will tell me i didn't hear that dreadful sound....
