Limerence

by alexanderthegreat   May 24, 2007

Overtake the time with limerence in the eyed
For my dreams carry me through the true of what was denied
I sleep to forget that you're not mine
I sleep to remember that in slumber I'm fine

Carry me away; embrace thee, Mr. Sandman come
Let me nod off to a lie in which my heart can drum
I sleep to forgive my relentless passion
I sleep to reenter my prudence in ration

Forsaken I remain and forsaken I fell
As a desperado unwelcome with nowhere to dwell
I sleep to forbid my fears of reservation
I sleep to recall our romance in communication

Wake me up now for I know I am asleep
I have slept for too long, I shall no longer weep
I sleep to forgo on, and on I dream
I sleep to reclaim love, or so the theme
