The True Me

by Truly in Love   May 24, 2007

For a dead soul, I forgot how to live
For a broken heart, that could no longer give
He made me breathe, like it was spring today
He gave me love, and found me new ways

The heart that froze in the lonely winter,
He brought back to life.
He found ways to melt me,
while I was tangled in my strife.

What happened each morning,
I did not see.
Dancing in the moonlight haze,
I found the true me.
